Orelle is a restaurant, café/bar and terrace sited in the centre of Birmingham’s Business District.  It is located on the ground and 24th floors of 103 Colmore Row, with the 24th floor restaurant providing spectacular 360-degree views of the city.  The brief, set by the client D&D London, was to create a fine-dining restaurant on the 24th floor, with the ground floor café/bar offering a more informal experience during the daytime and a glamorous bar at night.  The design is inspired by the site’s banking heritage, including incorporating the original cast aluminium banking doors in the café/bar, as well as its close proximity to the historic Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham.
