Ward Robinson continue in their project management role with Muse Developments and South Tyneside Council in the transformational South Shields 365 town centre regeneration scheme.

A planning application has been submitted for a striking glass-fronted riverside office building in South Shields.

The proposed development would be built on former brownfield land in the Harton Quay area of the town. It would be constructed across five storeys with basement parking, a reception area offering co-working space and coffee bar, and a roof terrace with panoramic views.

Designed by Ryder Architecture, the development would provide 50,000 sq. ft of Grade A office accommodation and would aim to be the first speculative near-net carbon zero office building in the region, with outstanding sustainability ratings.

The application, which has been submitted by Muse and South Tyneside Council, will be considered by the council’s planning committee in due course.

Subject to receiving approval, construction is due to start later this year.
