Over the past 18 years, our project management team have worked closely with Yarm School on the redevelopment of their dining facilities, a new teaching block, an 800 seat auditorium and bar, a new build music school as well as enhanced sports facilities across the School’s estate. Currently our project management team are overseeing the development of a new car park at Yarm School which will assist traffic flow on The Spital and provide a place for parents to pick-up and drop-off away from The Spital. The works are expected to begin in early 2021.
The landscaped car park, which will give direct access to the Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep schools, is being developed on land adjacent to the Pre-Prep School and will be accessed by three-way traffic lights on The Spital. The new area will accommodate 136 cars and three coaches and is expected to take around eight months to complete.
Alan Hodgson, Estates Manager at Yarm School, said: “This has been in the planning phase for a long time and we are pleased that work can now commence.
“The new car park will enable drop off and pick up of pupils away from The Spital, where the flow of traffic will be eased at the start and end of the school day.
Ward Robinson are also supporting Yarm School in the development of a series of new playing pitches and associated footbridge across the River Tees, as well as ongoing support with the development of a masterplan to guide the further development of the wider campus.
